“Born Again”
To be born again means to have realised that you are a sinner, that you have done wrong in Gods
eyes, and that you need to be saved from your sin. In order to be forgiven of that sin, you have to
believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and that He died for your sins on the cross of Calvary
2000 years ago and repent (turn away) of all your sin and past life and ask Jesus Christ to come
into your life and be your Saviour and Lord.
When you sincerely do this you are saved by the grace of God and are born again into a new life
in Christ.

John 3 v 16
“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall
not perish but have eternal life”

Genesis 5 v 21-24
When Enoch had lived 65 years, he became the father of Methuselah.  And after he became
the father of Methuselah, Enoch walked with God 300 years and had other sons and daughters.
Altogether, Enoch lived 365 years. Enoch walked with God; then he was no more, because God
took him away.

2 Kings 2 v 1
When the LORD was about to take Elijah up to heaven in a whirlwind, Elijah and Elisha were on
their way from Gilgal.

Acts 1 v 9-11
After he said this, he was taken up before their very eyes, and a cloud hid him from their sight.
They were looking intently up into the sky as he was going, when suddenly two men dressed in
white stood beside them. "Men of Galilee," they said, "why do you stand here looking into the sky?
This same Jesus, who has been taken from you into heaven, will come back in the same way you
have seen him go into heaven."

Hebrews 11 v 15
If they had been thinking of the country they had left, they would have had opportunity to return.

Revelation 19 v 15
Out of his mouth comes a sharp sword with which to strike down the nations. "He will rule them
with an iron scepter."
